Quooker
The partnership between Quooker and Youwe shows how a digital platform can evolve alongside a rapidly growing business. The original Magento 2 and Pimcore environment gave Quooker a strong B2B2C foundation and supported expansion into 17 markets. As Quooker continued to grow, the demands placed on the platform changed. Launching markets faster, improving content operations, strengthening the online brand experience and making better use of customer data became increasingly important.
Today, Youwe supports Quooker across strategy, experience, development, integration, analytics and optimisation. Together, we are building a composable digital platform that combines global consistency with the freedom for local teams to respond to their own markets.
Quooker created the original boiling-water tap. Its ambition is to turn the boiling-water tap into a worldwide kitchen essential, supported by ingenious water solutions that make everyday life easier and use energy and water responsibly. The product range has grown into the tap that does it all: providing 100°C boiling, hot, cold, chilled still and sparkling water. Quooker taps are sold through an extensive international dealer network, while consumers increasingly use the digital platform to discover products, configure their preferred tap, find a dealer, book an appointment and order systems, consumables or service parts. This combination of dealer-led sales, direct commerce and service creates a complex customer journey. The digital platform needs to support consumers throughout that journey while strengthening, rather than competing with, Quooker’s dealer network.
Growing beyond the original platform
The first Magento and Pimcore platform helped Quooker move from a predominantly B2B manufacturer towards a B2B2C organisation. It connected commerce, product information, digital assets, ERP data and local storefronts. This foundation supported the rapid rollout of new countries and introduced services including a store locator, product configurator, service parts shop, savings check, dealer portal and brand portal.
As international expansion accelerated, the original architecture started to require more resources. Content creation and localisation became increasingly time-consuming. Changes to the customer experience were tied closely to the commerce platform, while every new market brought additional complexity.
Quooker needed a platform that could scale without multiplying effort. Local teams needed more control over their content, while the global organisation needed to protect brand quality, technical performance and consistency. The challenge had therefore grown from launching additional storefronts into creating one digital system that could keep improving.

Our solution
Together with Quooker, Youwe explored how the platform could support the company’s next phase of international growth. The UK became the first market to benefit from the new headless architecture.
The customer-facing experience is now separated from Magento and other back-office systems. A modern Next.js front end, Contentful CMS, reusable component library and API-driven orchestration layer bring content, commerce and customer data together.
This separation gives Quooker more freedom to improve the experience without rebuilding its underlying systems. Components can be reused across pages and markets, while local teams can create market-specific experiences within a recognisable global brand.
Back-end applications can also be updated or replaced with less impact on the customer experience. This reduces dependency on individual technology vendors and creates a more adaptable foundation for future channels and services.
Technology only creates value when it helps Quooker make better decisions. Youwe therefore developed a measurement approach that connects customer behaviour to the complete journey: awareness, research, consideration, acquisition, service and loyalty.
GA4 tracking, journey analysis and experimentation help the teams understand where customers progress, hesitate or leave. Insights are translated into a structured optimisation backlog and tested through an ongoing programme of A/B experiments.
The first analysis of the new UK platform identified clear opportunities across product detail pages, mobile conversion, virtual demonstration bookings, dealer discovery and service content. It also exposed tracking gaps that could otherwise have produced misleading conclusions.
This creates a repeatable cycle of learning: measure behaviour, identify an opportunity, test an improvement and use the result to determine the next action.
