What Youwe did
Youwe reconfigured the existing Pimcore PIM of GAIA Design instead of replacing it, and took care of implementation and hosting.
Product data is now centralised in Pimcore, as one source for all digital channels.
How
GAIA had to choose between a new PIM and a reconfiguration of Pimcore. After analysis, the Pimcore specialists of Youwe found that Pimcore offered the flexibility needed and only had to be configured differently.
Key requirements were an improved import with automatic mapping from Excel to Pimcore, and a near real-time integration with the wider IT landscape.
The remapped configuration supports enriched and localized product content across the sales channels.
