Wageningen University & Research
Wageningen: Magento takeover and shop.wur.nl partnership
Wageningen University & Research and Youwe partnered so a life-sciences and agriculture research organization could keep Magento (Adobe Commerce) care with one partner and grow the shop.wur.nl webshop with CISS continuous Magento support.
The result is a Magento commerce partnership centered on taking over care of the existing platform and the public webshop.
The goal: give Wageningen University & Research a Magento takeover and shop.wur.nl partnership with continuous Magento support.
Our solution
The challenge
What Wageningen University & Research needed
Wageningen University & Research (WUR) is a Dutch university and research organization focused on life sciences, agriculture and food. The public Magento webshop lives at shop.wur.nl, including the marsmoon section at shop.wur.nl/marsmoon.
Magento care that fits a live environment. Taking over Magento support on the platform Wageningen already ran.
A webshop step that can go live. shop.wur.nl delivery, including the marsmoon section, as a public Magento storefront partnership.
Magento care that stays after delivery. CISS continuous Magento support so webshop improvements and day-to-day Magento operations stay connected.
Our approach
What Youwe did
Youwe took over Magento care on the environment Wageningen University & Research already ran, starting with Magento workshops and early partnership work.
Youwe then delivered webshop work for shop.wur.nl, including the marsmoon section, and continued with continuous Magento support.
How
The takeover fitted the live environment: care moved to Youwe without changing the platform Wageningen already ran.
The marsmoon section on shop.wur.nl launched as part of the public webshop.
Since 2023, continuous care and further development of the webshop stay with one partner.
shop.wur.nl webshop partnership
Magento webshop delivery for shop.wur.nl so the public storefront could grow with Youwe.
The marsmoon section on shop.wur.nl as a delivered Magento storefront launch.
CISS continuous Magento support
CISS continuous Magento support so Wageningen keeps a close partner for Magento operations and improvement after the takeover and webshop steps.
Further Magento care steps so storefront and platform support stay with one delivery partner.
The results
A Magento takeover that fits the live environment
Wageningen moved Magento care to Youwe on the environment it already ran.
CISS for ongoing Magento care
A distinct university and research webshop vertical
Is your Magento webshop ready for taking over care of the existing platform and continuous Magento support?
Research organizations and universities need Magento partners who can take over live commerce care and still stay for the webshop and continuous support. Youwe helps organizations grow Magento programs with delivery that stays close to how institutional webshops actually run.
