Rich, eye-catching content, and one single Adobe Commerce instance to power all the different countries’ webshops
Our solution
The challenge
Youwe started with a workshop program, identifying the priority countries and running 18 international workshops that covered everything from strategic objectives to UX and user flows.
Because the cooperation started during COVID restrictions, the workshops ran remotely, with teams spread across countries, cultures and time zones. Youwe’s agile way of working kept them on track.
After careful consideration, Youwe built a single Adobe Commerce instance for the websites of all countries. This made it easy to deploy changes from the base instance and kept the time to market short: changes made for one webshop could be reused for all other shops. The complex global platform also had to allow for country-specific changes, product reviews and other differences. Development followed a country-by-country rollout, starting with shops for the UK and US, then France, Germany, Spain and the Nordics. The focus was on consumers, with a D2C approach around Home, while the instance was prepared to be B2B ready for certain professional opportunities, such as spare parts sales.
Schneider Electric traditionally sold most products through its channel partners. The global Adobe Commerce program, with a high level of integration, governance and guidance, added the brand's own webshops and a multi-channel approach for certain end users.
Positioning and promoting Schneider Electric’s smart home range, Wiser, was also a key project priority. Wiser offers a wide range of smart home solutions to maximize comfort and safety at home, while optimizing home energy consumption.
The Adobe Commerce solution gave Wiser a platform for storytelling. Youwe’s design team ran user research and testing so the benefits of the brand came across clearly.
