Saudi Aramco
Saudi Aramco is the world’s largest oil company by production and reserves, with a capacity of about 12 million barrels per day and reserves of 247 billion barrels of oil equivalent.

Youwe designed and implemented a marketing portal for Saudi Aramco’s brand guidelines and digital content.
Our solution
The challenge
Our approach
Youwe planned and built a bespoke branding and marketing portal for Saudi Aramco, open to internal and external stakeholders.
The portal brings together the brand guidelines and style guides that employees, partners, vendors and merchants need.
The platform had to fit within the constraints of Saudi Aramco, which could not use cloud-based solutions.
The work began with an audit of every element of the brand. From there, Youwe built a framework and a clear menu system, with groupings for logo use, color schemes, iconography, typography, imagery and other graphic assets.
Navigation was designed around the needs of the many different users of the portal.
Imagery has its own grouping in the portal menu, next to logo use, color schemes, iconography and typography. Users find the visual elements of the brand in the same place as its guidelines and style guides.
Employees, partners, vendors and merchants all work from that one source, so internal and external audiences see a consistent brand.

The results
The marketing team no longer handles every request on its own. People are pointed to one source that holds all brand information.
One source for brand guidelines and style guides
Saudi Aramco manages its own marketing information
A consistent brand for internal and external audiences
Saudi Aramco keeps refining its brand elements. The portal shows users the foundations of the brand and the elements they need to express it visually.
Teams across the business work from the same messaging framework, wherever a message comes from.
