Eichholtz has grown into one of the world’s most well-known and reputable wholesalers of luxury design furniture, lighting, and accessories. With the combined experience of over 150 skilled employees, a 35,000m² warehouse, and a grand showroom of 4,000m², Eichholtz has furnished more than 10,000 prestigious hotels, restaurants, clubs, and stores throughout the world and is now making its way to the digital world.

Today, the brand is the epitome of luxury living. Eichholtz aims to continuously inspire the interior design industry with its extensive collection that spans a host of iconic interior styles. The store is known as the ultimate style destination for opulent interior pieces. But Eichholtz also knows that having a digital presence is getting more and more important. Because of this Youwe became the strategic preferred partner for the future of the online channel of Eichholtz. 

For starters, Eichholtz was looking for a Google Analytics report to receive answers to their most pressing questions. Like many other companies Eichholtz needed insights about:

  • The overall performance of the website since go-live
  • The audience and their behavior on the site
  • Channels to invest in and their impact on the company
  • Underperforming pages and elements on the site that need to be optimized

Making the most of data

Youwe acts as the extension of the online team at Eichholtz to deliver important business insights from their data to increase their customer experience. We began this trajectory by investigating the data tracking set-up and we discovered opportunities to provide Eichholtz with more relevant and actionable data. With a detailed roadmap, we work towards a real-time dashboard, specific for their different target audiences. By combining and centralizing data from different sources the dashboard visualizes each phase within the online funnel of the target groups. Besides an overview of the progress towards set targets, the dashboard provides actionable insights to optimize performance in each phase in the funnel.

Experience design

Youwe's design team worked with eichholtz to redesign their store locator, providing an international look and feel that made eichholtz feel like a large brand. The team faced the challenge of dealing with a diverse range of stores, including Eichholtz mono brand stores, multi-brand stores, resellers, and shop-in-shops, each with different levels of hierarchy. They also ensured that special collections, such as the Philip Plein collection and The Met, were prominently displayed on the platform. Overall, Youwe's design team successfully developed a visually appealing and user-friendly store locator for eichholtz, which effectively showcased the brand's international presence and special collections.
